The restaurants on Long Street might not be top of the Capetonian crop, but one can have a good meal here for not too much money. Indian at the Maharaj Curry Restaurant, Kurdish at the Mesopotamia. In the Diva Health Bar you can find macrobiotic and in the Diablo Tapas Bar Spanish food. Kennedy's Restaurant has international cuisine, some days with live Jazz music. And the Mama Africa Restaurant (178 Long Street) offers traditional African dishes, prepared in a Zulu Boma, most days with live music (African Jazz and Kwaito).
