Taxis and Shuttles
At the airport there are usually taxis and shuttle busses in sufficient numbers available. One should only choose a vehicle with ACSA accreditation to avoid unwanted sightseeing tours. Taxis charge about R 10 per kilometre. The distance to the town centre is about 25 kilometres. VAT Refund The Value-added Tax of 14% for merchandise bought in South Africa can be claimed before checking in in the International Departures hall. The bills and invoices must have been stamped by the customs beforehand. The customs can be found in the same hall.
