Bushveld Camps Kruger ParkBushveld Camps
Accommodation in cottages with luxury equipment in small, tranquil restcamps. Bushveld Camps don't have shops or restaurants. Some without electricity. All houses have 4 to 6 beds, bath, fridge, crockery, cutlery and a stove. The names of the Bushveld Camps are Bateleur, Biyamiti, Shimuwini, Talamati und Sirheni. Excursions and safari drives at night can be organised in most camps.

Kruger Park CottagesCottages
Small thatched holiday houses with one bedroom and a separate living room. Bath and equipped kitchen. For max.4 persons. Cottages are available at Punda Maria, Mopani, Biyamiti, Shimuwini, Sirheni and Talamati.

Kruger Park Family CottagesFamily Cottages
Bigger holiday houses with up to three bedrooms. 4 to 6 beds. bathroom and partially equipped kitchen. Family cottages are available at Skukuza (4 beds), Berg-en-dal (6 beds), Pretoriuskop (4 beds) and Olifants (4 beds).

Kruger Park Guest CottagesGuest Cottages
Spacious holiday houses with two or three bedrooms (4 to 6 beds) and two baths. Fully equipped kitchen. Guest Cottages are at Skukuza, Mopani, Olifants, Lower Sabie, Satara, Letaba, Pretoriuskop, Orpen and Shingwedzi and in all Bushveld Camps.

Kruger Park Safari TentsSafari Tents
Spacious safari tents with 2 to 4 beds, wardrobe, table, chairs, fridge and fan. No bath. Communal kitchen and toilets. Budget accommodation. Safari Tents are available at the restcamps Crocodile Bridge, Letaba, Skukuza and Tamboti.

Camping
Caravan and camping grounds are in Balule, Berg-en-dal, Crocodile Bridge, Letaba, Malelane, Maroela, Lower Sabie, Pretoriuskop, Punda Maria, Satara, Shingwedzi and Skukuza. All camps are well equipped and have (except Balule) electricity on every site.

Kruger National Park
Restcamps

There are at present 8 entrance gates to the Kruger National Park. The main entrance is the Paul Kruger Gate east of Hazyview. Three more gates, Numbi, Malelane and Crocodile Bridge, lie in the very south and can be accessed from the N4 via Nelspruit. In the north are die gates Punda Maria and Pafuri,the central part of the park can be reached the fastest through the gates Phalaborwa and Orpen.

The Kruger Park comprises numerous restcamps, the bigger camps are to be found mainly in the southern and central parts. Each of the restcamps is fenced, and after dark one has to stay in a camp or must have left the park before sunset. All the bigger restcamps have electricity, sick stations, grocery shops, laundries, restaurant, cafeteria, public telephone and petrol station. In many restcamps nature conservation films are shown in the evenings. The restcamps provide various types of accommodation, differently equipped and at widely differing prices.

Kruger Park BungalowsBungalows
Thatch-roofed rondavels. A room with three beds and a separate bath und separatem Bad. Fully equipped kitchen. Bungalows are available at the restcamps Berg-en-dal, Crocodile Bridge, Letaba, Lower Sabie, Malelane, Mopani, Olifants, Punda Maria, Pretoriuskop, Satara, Shingwedzi and Skukuza.

Kruger Park HŸttenHuts
Simple and cheap round huts (rondavels) with thatchroof and one room. No bath. Suitable for 2 to 3 persons. Communal kitchen and toilets. Rondavels are available at Balule, Lower Sabie, Pretoriuskop, Letaba, Shingwedzi and in Orpen. Some have air-conditioning.

Kruger Park Bush LodgesBush Lodges
Separately positioned, very tranquil lodges, nicely equipped. Mainly for tour groups. No restaurants or shops. Kitchen with gas stove, fridge and crockery. At present there are 4 Bush Lodges: Boulders (12 persons), Nwanetsi (16 persons), Jock of the Bushveld (12 persons) and Roodewal (19 persons). Bush Lodges can only be booked as a unit.
