Accommodation
There are two types of holiday apartments in Ai-Ais. The standard version has 4 single beds, kitchen with fridge and hotplates as well as toilet and shower. The luxury version also has a balcony with a view of the Fish River. At the entrance to the resort there are some basic huts with 4 single beds and kitchen, but with communal showers and toilets. A camping ground is part of the resort. The restcamp is open from March 15 until October 31. Early booking is recommended.

Visitor Information for Ai-Ais

Access
The hot springs of Ai-Ais, run by the government, lie in the southern part of the Fish River Nature Reserve. Best to be accessed on the B1. Near Gruenau turn off on the C10. Ai-Ais lies at the end of this gravel road. (73 km).

Restcamp
The restcamp offers - beside the hot springs - some nice holiday apartments, huts and a camping ground. The resort also disposes of a restaurant, a petrol station, an outdoor swimming pool, a playground and tennis courts. Day visitors must have left the camp before 23:00. The restaurant is open from 07:00 to 09:00; 12:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 22:00. Bigger groups should book at least 24 hours in advance.
