Hondeklip Bay Beach
Discover the wild
part of South Africa's
West Coast

The tiny fishing village of Hondeklip Bay is the ideal retreat to relax. You will find an untouched, extensive coastal scenery. You can have lovely beach walks here and watch the many sea birds. Or visit the "Hondeklip", a rock formation in the water, where you will see huge breakers. Or hike to the shipwreck of the "Aristea", which stranded here in 1945. Of course, we have also ideal fishing spots. With a special permit (you will get it Springbok or Garies) you can even catch lobsters here.

We offer:
- Comfortable fully self-contained chalets
- Braai place (barbeque)
- Bar and restaurant
- Guided 4x4 tours
- Visit to a diamond mine

Hondeklip Bay is a place in the desert. Please bring your own drinking water as well as your towels.
