Access
 The access to Ulundi goes via the R66. Drive cautiously, because the road has many potholes. - This applies to most roads in central and northern Zululand.
Ondini Historic Reserve
Here parts of King Cetshwayo's royal kraal were restored. Right next to it is the KwaZulu Cultural-Historical Museum. Excellent multimedia show about the Zulu culture and history.
Access to Ondini via the R34 (Melmoth - Vryheid). Turn-off Ulundi. after crossing the Umfolozi river second turn to the right. The Ondini complex lies approx. 5 kms behind the Ulundi Battlefield. Open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. Small entry fee. (035) 8702050. |
