King Shaka Memorial The monument and museum (Dukuza Interpretive Centre) lie on the main road (King Shaka Street) of KwaDukuza (Stanger) and can't be missed. In a 20-minute slide show and from a lot of other information one can learn everything about the king who was the founder of the Zulu nation. The museum is open daily from 8:30 am to 4 pm. Zimbali Coastal Golf Estate Das Golf Estate near Ballito is tugged away in subtropical coastal forest vegetation. The 370-hectare estate stretches down to the Indian Ocean. The 18-hole course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and is known to be difficult. Accommodation can be purchased on the private estate, and for visitors there is a 5-star luxury hotel. Tel 032 5381984. Prince's Grant Golf Estate The 18-hole golf course - designed by Peter Matkovitch - lies between Stanger and the sea and is one of the 16 best of South Africa. It stretches down to the beach to which it has its own controlled access. Accommodation on the private estate consists either of private property or a luxurious lodge reminding of the grand architecture of the colonial times in Natal.
