The Rondebosch Golf Course lies only 10 minutes from the centre of Cape Town. Access from Cape Town via the M5 in the direction of Muizenberg. Exit "Rondebosch". Procede to the crossing, turn left and at the next traffic light left agian.

Rondebosch - Cape Town

The Rondebosch Golf Club opened in 1911 and is one of the oldest in the country. Over the years, a lot of ground was lost to the construction of freeways and the broadening of the Black River to a width of 60 metres. In 1994 the course was completely revamped. Due to the river and many other streams going through the premises, there is a high number of birds living here, among them herons, kingfishers, cormorants, wild geese and even fish eagles.

The modern clubhouse offers a well assorted pro shop and a restaurant.

The Rondebosch Golf course is known to be very accommodating to visitors. For travel groups competitions, including catering and prize-giving, can be organised.
