Access: West of George turn left towards the centre of town. Proceed for some 3 km along the N9 to the south.

George Golf Club

George - Garden Route

The George Golf Club - founded in 1886 - lies a few kilometres west of George at the foot of the imposing Outeniqua Mountains. The course has been changed and extended several times and is nowadays an18-hole championship course in natural surroundings of most stunning beauty.
The course is hilly and densely forested along the well maintained fairways, partially with endemic coastal rainforest.

George Golf Club

Hole18 is the course's biggest challenge: The shot heads in the direction of the clubhouse - with the wonderful mountain range behind it. The green is surrounded by bunkers and lies in a ditch which can only be seen at short distance.
