Visitors are very welcome in East London and the greenfees are surprisingly low. The golf course lies at the north end of the East London beach. Go the John Bailey Drive up and turn right into Gleneagles Road.

The East London Golf Club belongs to the top courses in South Africa. The South African Open Championship took place here seven times already. The course lies near the Nahoon Beach and offers in many places breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.

The course's terrain is hilly and undulating throughout with considerable differences in altitude. Right at the first hole (par five) it goes steeply uphill. The fairways are mostly seamed by thick bush.There are no water hazards, but numerous well placed bunkers.
