The Spotted Horse Country Inn is located in the beautiful Kamberg Valley, set in the dramatic foothills of the Drakensberg Mountains. "Spotties", as it is affectionally known, is situated on the San Souci Farm, which is probably one of the largest Appaloosa stud farms in South Africa - right in the Heart of the beautiful Kamberg. There are two herds of horses living on the farm, "Battlestars" herd and Yucatan with his herd. In total there are now over 150 horses living on the farm. All appaloosas and guides are trained using the Parelli natural horseman ship system (horse whispering). This is a unique training system as it requires the rider to learn how to "talk horse".
Accommodation: Spotted Horse offers four rustic bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities. All bedrooms share the shadows of Mount Lebanon, Mount Cleopatra and Giant’s castle. They also share the same roof with a kicking little restaurant and bar.
Facilities: Chill out and put your feet up in the Boma, Residents lounge or just eat and drink in the Bar.
Acitivities: Enjoy the beauty of the countryside, have a picnic, take walks around the farm, play basket ball or let us arrange fishing, horse riding or even a hot air balloon ride.
