Goede Hoop lies in the Historic centre of Simon's Town, immediately above Jubilee Square. Guests have a bird's eye view of the yacht basin, the naval activity and panoramic views across False Bay to the mountains. It is a short walk to the centre of our Victorian village and its attractive waterfront. And in season we watch the whales from the patio.
Accommodation: a) Self Catering for up to six guests from December to March when the whole house is let for minimum periods of two weeks. 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size double bed, en suite bathroom and walk in dressing room. The guest bedroom has a queen size double bed with its own separate, but private shower and toilet. The second guest bedroom is separate, but within the house, and has twin beds en suite bathroom and small private garden. Open-plan living/dining area with magnificent views from all the windows. Well appointed kitchen, situated across a large serving counter. Patio with stunning sea views and with Sunbirds drinking at the window.
b) B&B accommodation for two (plus two children who can 'camp' on the patio) is offered when the house is not rented as a unit. It has a separate entrance, en suite bathroom and private garden. Also, DSTV plus PVR so you can watch the full range of TV programmes, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, crockery, cutlery and a small bar fridge. Our excellent breakfasts are served on the 'Patio with the View!'
