 Camp Figtree is a remote private lodge set on top of the stunning Zuurberg mountain range. Resting between a conservancy and the Addo Elephant National Park, the camp boasts the most breathtaking 270-degree views to be found in the Eastern Cape. Camp Figtree has been designed around its original 1920's building in traditional colonial style. Historically, this includes the distinctive use of corrugated iron roofing and wide, sweeping verandahs which provide areas for relaxed sociability.Accommodation: 2 Family Suites, 1 Honeymoon Suite, 3 Superior Suites & 2 Luxury Tents complete with separate living and dining area with decks and a rim-flow pool offer guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance and exclusivity. Facilities - at the lodge: Central living area, lounge and reading area, spacious verandah and boma, swimming pool and viewing deck. - at the luxury tented camp: Central living area with a lounge, dining area, spacious elevated decks, dining area and boma, swimming pool. Laundry and valet services are available on request as well as a baby-sitting service. Malaria precautions are not required. Activities: Game drives in open safari vehicles, elephant back safaris, day trips to Shamwari & Schotia. Rates: Tents & Suites - R1920 pp per night incl dinner, bed & breakfast. For all guests staying for 2 or more nights, a free Game Drive through Addo Elephant National Park is included. |
