Panoramic views of the bay and the mountains. 1 km from the N2 highway, a few minutes from secluded beaches at Glentana, 7 minutes from the George national airport, a short drive to the famous "Fancourt" country club, and 15 minutes from the Outeniqua Choo-Choo steam train station and museum at George.Accommodation: The historic double rooms en-suite, tastefully furnished with Cape antiques and heirlooms, are located in the original 1760 house, one of the oldest in the Southern Cape. In addition, two full suites are accommodated in the 1820 house. Each has a seperate sitting room, and facilites for self-catering. One suite has two bathrooms, and the other one and a half bathrooms and a seperate third bed, and each suite has private entry and its own patio. A further full suite for a family also has a second bedroom in the attic, suitable for teenagers and is accessed by the original yellowwood staircase. Dining: Candle-lit dinners served on request. The Dining Room and Supper Room each have their own warm charm, the one with Georgian decor, old crystal chandeliers, historic armoires and traditional old furniture, while the Supper Room, decorated with French bronzes and original Napoleonic pieces, overlooks the ocean and the distant lights of Mossel Bay.
