Dungbeetle River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Sundays River alongside the new Addo National Park entrance and offers a magnificent deck with sweeping river views as a perfect backdrop to your big five game viewing.
The guesthouse is one of the few 4-star graded accommodation establishments in the area. It boasts 6 up-market large, Safari type en-suite bedrooms, with old-world furnishings and subtly decorated to give you a classy colonial African feel. Each room with its unique big five animal name comes with television, honesty fridge, safe and a choice of single or double bed.
Included in our Bed and Breakfast rates is a traditional farmhouse breakfast that includes home-baked bread, piping hot muffins and fresh fruit juice.
Dungbeetle River Lodge has its own jetty for fishing and boating enthusiasts. Several canoes available for your enjoyment. Boat port for those people who have their own boat. Bicycles are made available. Over 200 bird species have been identified in this area, and trips up the river can be arranged for twitchers.
