 Amakhaya Golf Lodge is idyllically situated in the beautiful bay of Hout Bay and offers fantastic views of famous Chapman’s Peak, mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. The lodge is the only guest house in South Africa with its own golf practising facilities: 2 putting greens, 2 chipping pads, bunker, net for drives. Only a few minutes from the white sandy beach of Hout Bay and Llandudno. Ideal base for sightseeing tours, golf and relaxation (centre of Cape Town 20 minutes along the picturesque coastal road; 20 golf courses 25 - 60 minutes away).
Accommodation: Our guests can choose between 5 different suites / rooms. 3 luxurious double bedrooms and 2 suites (each for max. 4 persons) are utterly comfortable in a relaxed and private atmosphere. All rooms are individually decorated and lovingly furnished in an African style. They are all en-suite and dispose of TV, DVD, CD, MP3, mini bar, safe, bedding, towels, beach towels, gowns, hairdryers, access to the pool and golf facility and to the lounge with a TV, DVD and computer with 24h Internet connection. The self-catering units have fully equipped kitchens (fridge, dishwasher etc.) and a private terrace and garden. Exquisite duvets, mattrasses and bedding.
The suites "Elephant" & "Giraffe" with a breathtaking sea view on to the bay, Chapman's Peak and the mountains. "Leopard" room with fantastic mountain views. Self-catering studio "Buffalo" downstairs with breathtaking sea views. The studio comprises of 2 bedrooms, lounge, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher) and a private terrace towards the pool. Self-catering cottage "Three Sisters" downstairs with sea view. The cottage has 1 bedroom (a sleeper couch can be added), lounge, complete kitchen and private garden with access to the pool and the golf patch. Both self-catering units can also be booked on a B&B basis. Each sleeps max. 4 persons.
