 Soak up the sun and savour the panoramic view of Britannia Bay. South Africa has many beautiful places but this is truly the best, and as yet it has not been discovered by too many people. The ideal place for total relaxation. You cannot get closer to the beach without getting your feet wet! Anne and David Dixon have created a charming home on the beach and invite you to share their friendly hospitality.
Accommodation: One suite with two double rooms, a bathroom, small lounge and private deck overlooking the beach. One double room downstairs with French doors which open onto the courtyard and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Both have tea/coffee making facilities, hairdriers and TV's. The suite has a small fridge. There is ample secure parking.
The bay is very protected and the water is a little warmer than most places on the West Coast, due to the Benguela current not entering the bay. We have whales almost all year round. Fishing from nearby rocks and boats is good. There are excellent restaurants close-by which serve delicious seafood meals. SABS 3 Star Crystal Grading.
