Granny Mouse Country House and Spa started off as a tiny retreat where couples escaped to get away from it all while staying in country-style luxury and enjoying outstanding gourmet fare. Today, it’s so much more. It not only gained in popularity, but it grew in size, too, and now offers a whole range of facilities as well as being a romantic retreat – there’s a stunning spa, facilities for weddings, Conferences or other special celebrations, and every activity imaginable to keep everyone busy: golf, fly-fishing, clay-pigeon shooting  is available in the area, as well as exploring wonderful art on the Midlands Meander. These days Granny House is a hotel, restaurant and spa as well as a country house, but has still managed to retain its home-from-home atmosphere. Though it’s doubtful that many of us eat such gourmet fare at home! Chef Leanne Roberts trained in London and France and brings her special touch to gourmet fare, all made with only the freshest ingredients. Granny Mouse has won the Diners Club Winelist awards “Award of excellence” on many occasions. They are well-known for their delicious menus which marry the wonderful world of wine with award-winning culinary delights. So, if you want a celebration that combines style, great food, good wine and hospitality, this is the place!

There’s a choice of accommodation, including deluxe and garden cottages, as well as executive suites and a honeymoon suite. All are beautifully furnished and offer great views, fireplaces and Victorian bathrooms.
